Sword Warriors Swords, Stars & SwordDex
Rarity ladder, enchant slots, Eternal shop weapons, and collection milestones.
Swords are your visible power spike in Sword Warriors, but the system behind them matters more than any single drop name. This page covers the rarity ladder, star merges, SwordDex collection rules, Eternal weapons, enchant slot breakpoints, and how world eggs escalate—without inventing a fake S-tier list of every blade. Use it with Hero priority, the Builds Hub, and gem checklists on Tools.
Rarity ladder
From weakest hatch banding to strongest:
Common → Rare → Epic → Legend → Mysterious → Eternity
Attack values jump by rarity and again by star rating (0★ through 5★). Early World 1 eggs already show the pattern: a 5★ Mysterious “Wild Sword” outscales a 0★ Common “Branch” by an order of magnitude even before enchants. Later worlds compress those jumps into millions or billions of attack on top-end Eternity rolls.
Priority mindset:
- Equip the highest effective attack you can sustain (rarity × stars × enchants × your Attack stats).
- Prefer a lower rarity with perfect combat enchants over a naked higher rarity you cannot drive.
- Break into Mysterious as soon as affordable—two enchant slots change build crafting.
- Chase Eternity for endgame scaling and Eternal Hall relevance.
Named event swords (Toilet Killer, Widow Maker, Toilet Destroyer, gold variants) can skip early egg pain, but they still participate in stars, SwordDex, and transmog rules.
Stars and merging
Stars increase sword attack along fixed tables per egg. Merging duplicates (and related craft flows) is how you climb. Activation systems in later progression can add kill/rune requirements per star on eligible blades—check the current activation NPC rules in World 2+ after updates.
Practical merge tips:
- Keep a combat main and a fodder pipeline so you do not accidental-merge your enchanted carry.
- When crafting with Ez Craft–style tools, community guides show you can preserve high-level enchant rolls across slots—test on cheap blades first after any patch.
- Inventory space matters; SwordDex and shop packs that add sword inventory are quiet power spikes.
Enchant slots: the real breakpoint
Enchanting happens in World 3: Horde Camp for gems (or free with an Enchant Card). Slot counts:
| Rarity | Enchant slots |
|---|---|
| Common | 1 |
| Rare | 1 |
| Epic | 1 |
| Legend | 1 |
| Mysterious | 2 |
| Eternity | 2 |
Roll families include world-specific EXP/gem bonuses, global EXP/gem bonuses, Lucky (hatch odds), Crit Damage, Attack Speed, Lifesteal, and other combat lines, each with levels 1–6. Specific-world EXP/gem lines often scale higher per level than global lines, so match the enchant to the map you actually farm.
Build pairings that age well:
- Push/solo: Lifesteal + Attack Speed (or Crit Damage)
- Rebirth: EXP + EXP (Specific World)
- Banking: Gem + Gem (Specific World)
- Hybrid Mysterious: Lifesteal + world EXP if you only maintain one sword
Lucky enchants support egg spam sessions when you are deliberately filling SwordDex—not when you are fighting a portal boss.
SwordDex milestones
SwordDex tracks collection. Only swords that meet rarity-specific star thresholds count:
| Rarity | Stars required to count |
|---|---|
| Normal/Common | 5★ |
| Rare | 4★ |
| Epic | 3★ |
| Legend | 2★ |
| Mysterious | 1★ |
| Eternity | 0★ |
World progress bars (example structure from community docs) unlock milestone rewards such as:
- +10% gem bonus on the current map
- Transmogrified card
- −10% egg cost on the current map
- Gold key
- Extra sword pack / inventory
Event and unique swords also feed transmogrification cosmetics once unlocked—purely visual skins applied with scarce transmog cards. Do not waste cards on temporary fodder; apply them to long-term Eternity carries.
SwordDex is why “bad” commons still deserve 5★ projects on your main map—the gem and egg discounts compound every later pull.
World egg progression
Each world sells multiple eggs with rising gem prices. Higher eggs shift probability mass toward stronger rarities and introduce Eternity outcomes as you advance. Illustrative early pattern (World 1):
- Cheap egg (~50 gems) — Branch through Wild Sword tables
- Mid egg (~1k) — Great Sword through Silver Sword
- Premium egg (~15k) — Majestic through Knight’s Sword
By mid worlds, egg stickers jump to millions/billions; late worlds list trillions and quadrillions. Rule of thumb: after unlocking a world, learn its premium egg attack ceilings before dumping your entire portal bank. Mix:
- Enough premium pulls to feel the new ceiling
- SwordDex completion on cheaper lines for discounts
- Event/Memoirs swords when banners make eggs inefficient
Duck quest ornaments and portal costs on Tools Hub should be funded before ego pulls.
Eternal weapons & Guardian Hall
Eternal Guardian Hall (Endless-style mode) pays eternal gems, auras, and access to an Eternity sword shop (Angel Knight lines, Vortex swords, Golden Favner, Golden Nifonier, and rotating peers). Prices are in eternal gems; keys open chests that accelerate aura/weapon progress. Weekly eternal shops may sell Mysterious auras, skill points, and boosts.
Eternal weapons often include Endless-specific damage bonuses that scale with stars. They are the endgame expression of the same rarity ladder—not a separate game. Keys come from SwordDex, events, VIP timers, and shops—track them on the daily Tools list.
Event swords vs egg swords
Limited swords can be:
- Shop purchases for event coins (Toilet Killer)
- Login ladder gifts (Widow Maker examples)
- Playtime track rewards (Toilet Destroyer at high anniversary playtime)
- Leaderboard trophies
- Memoirs gold-egg gacha outcomes
Evaluate them like any blade: attack table, enchant slots/rarity, SwordDex uniqueness, and whether they free gems for portals. History: Limited Events.
Priority framework (no fake S-tier names)
- Clear enough waves to reach Horde Camp enchanting.
- Land a Legend+ combat enchant for pushes.
- Break into Mysterious for dual slots.
- Complete SwordDex star thresholds on your main worlds.
- Bank gems for the next portal before luxury Eternity snipes.
- Rotate Eternal Hall keys so auras multiply whatever sword you equip.
- Re-enchant when your build job changes (Prophet EXP week vs Priest solo week).

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Sword Warriors questions.
When do swords get two enchant slots?
Mysterious and Eternity rarities receive two enchant slots. Lower rarities receive one. That breakpoint is why Mysterious is a major midgame goal.
Do Eternity swords need stars to count in SwordDex?
Community SwordDex rules treat Eternity as counting at 0★, while commons need 5★, rares 4★, epics 3★, legends 2★, and mysterious 1★. Always confirm the in-game index tooltip.
Should I spend all gems on the most expensive egg?
Not if it delays a world portal or Drillmaster plan. Premium eggs raise ceilings, but SwordDex discounts and portal unlocks often produce more account power per gem.
Are Eternal Hall weapons mandatory?
They become central for deep Endless and late auras, but early accounts should prioritize world clear swords, enchants, and rebirths first.
