Getting Started Guide

Sword Warriors (Roblox place 12986400307 by MiaoMeoHome) is an action idle RPG: clear enemy waves, collect gems, hatch swords from eggs (Common → Eternity, 0–5 stars), equip ornaments, unlock skills on slots 1–5, and summon heroes. Your first hour in World 1: Royal City decides whether progression feels smooth or stuck. This guide walks the day-one loop so every gem and rebirth has a purpose.

Before you grind, skim Sword Warriors Controls (WASD / LMB / Space / 1–5 / R on PC; joystick and attack/dash/skill buttons on mobile). Redeem anything active on Codes—free keys, Enchant Cards, and XP boosts compound hard early. Then return here and treat Royal City as a training circuit, not a race to the next portal.

The day-one loop in Royal City

Royal City covers waves 1–50. Each wave packs small, medium, and large mobs, then a boss at the end of the band. Dying costs nothing permanent: you respawn and keep gems, levels, and inventory. That means aggression is fine—learn enemy telegraphs, then lean on dash (Space) and early skills when packs thicken.

Your core loop looks like this:

  1. Clear waves for gems and character XP.
  2. Talk to the Duck for milestone quests (typically clear wave 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50) and claim gem payouts plus the World 1 ornament reward (Treasure Bag) at wave 50.
  3. Spend gems on the cheapest eggs that upgrade your equipped sword damage.
  4. Allocate stat points into HP and Attack so you stop dying mid-wave.
  5. Rebirth as soon as the UI allows, then rebuild stats with the permanent bonuses.
  6. Visit the Hero Monument to spend Hero Points on companions that speed the loop.

Repeat until wave 50 feels trivial, bank portal gems for Outpost (about 25k), and only then move on. Full portal costs and later worlds live on the Worlds guide.

Gems, eggs, and swords

Gems are the main currency. Early eggs in Royal City are cheap (the first egg sits around 50 gems; a second jumps toward 1K). Hatch often enough to replace your starter Branch-tier Common with stronger Rare / Epic / Legend options, and chase star upgrades (0→5★) on keepers. Do not dump every gem into random rolls while you still need the Outpost portal—balance one solid sword against the portal sink.

Swords scale by rarity and stars. Common through Eternity is the ladder; Mysterious and Eternity matter more once enchanting opens in World 3 (see How to Enchant). On day one, raw Attack on your equipped blade plus basic skills beats chasing perfect affixes you cannot roll yet.

Ornaments drop from Duck finales and events. Equip whatever World 1 gives you; treat ornaments as permanent power that survives rebirths, unlike temporary level and spent skill points.

Heroes on day one

You start with 1 Hero Point and gain another each time you finish a world. At the Hero Monument in Royal City, summon and equip companions. Default accounts equip one hero; a second slot usually needs a Robux unlock. Prioritize:

  • Prophet — +40% EXP from kills (including team kills), perfect for rebirth farming.
  • Priest — heals about 1% HP per second, the safest sustain pick when waves hurt.
  • Ikun — redeem code ZHIYINNITAIMEI, then summon at the Monument; Sing Jump stalls packs for drill and tough clears.

Details on Owned versus Equip bonuses and Hero Point math are in How to Level Heroes. For day one: summon Prophet if you are racing rebirths, or Priest if you keep dying.

Rebirth early and often

Rebirth resets your level toward 1 in exchange for permanent power: +1% slash damage, a better XP% modifier, +1 skill point, and +10 level cap. Early rebirths feel weak for a minute—then the XP boost makes the next climb faster. Press R (or the rebirth UI) whenever you hit the requirement instead of sitting at the soft cap. After each rebirth, rebuild HP/Attack and re-equip skills, then clear Drillmaster challenges when your level unlocks them. Full timing and title milestones (40 / 80 / 120) are in How to Rebirth.

Duck quests and the first portal

The Duck is your quest board. Clear the listed waves, turn in, take the gems, and finish wave 50 for the World 1 ornament. Those gem chunks fund eggs and the Outpost portal. Do not skip Duck turn-ins—missing a milestone is free currency left on the table.

When Royal City is cleared and you have ~25k gems, open the portal to World 2: Outpost (waves 51–100). Keep using Prophet for XP, keep rebirth cycling, and save a gem cushion for Horde Camp’s 750k portal later. Enchanting waits until World 3; Eternal Hall farming waits until your sword and skills can survive endless floors—see Eternal Guardian Hall.

First-hour checklist

  • Redeem Codes and join the group if you want daily claims.
  • Learn dash + attack rhythm on Controls.
  • Clear Duck milestones through wave 50 in Royal City.
  • Hatch a stronger sword; avoid spending the entire portal fund.
  • Rebirth whenever available; rebuild stats immediately.
  • Summon Prophet or Priest at the Hero Monument.
  • Portal to Outpost only after wave 50 and the gem cost are ready.
  • Bookmark Guides Hub, Tier List, and Updates for later systems.

Stay patient on Horde Camp and Glacial Chasm—those worlds punish low rebirth counts and thin HP. If a wave feels impossible, rebirth more, level heroes, and check the Tier List before buying Robux packs. Sword Warriors rewards consistent loops more than panic spending.

When Royal City feels automatic, graduate to How to Rebirth and Worlds. That is the real start of mid-game planning.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Sword Warriors questions.

What should I do first in Sword Warriors?

Clear Royal City waves, turn in Duck quests, hatch a stronger sword with gems, rebirth as soon as you can, and summon Prophet or Priest at the Hero Monument before buying the Outpost portal.

Do I lose gems or swords when I die?

No. Deaths are free. You keep gems, inventory, heroes, and rebirth bonuses—only the current wave progress resets.

When should I leave World 1 Royal City?

After clearing wave 50, claiming the Duck ornament reward, and banking about 25k gems for the Outpost portal. Do not rush out undergeared.

Which hero is best for beginners?

Prophet speeds rebirth XP; Priest keeps you alive with ~1%/s healing. Redeem Ikun with ZHIYINNITAIMEI when you want a stall skill for drills and tough packs.

Where do I learn rebirth and enchanting next?

Read How to Rebirth for permanent bonuses and titles, then How to Enchant once you reach World 3 Horde Camp. Use the Worlds guide for portal costs.
